BYE BYE, ROBOT LAUNCHES THREE NEW STAR TREK™ POSTERS
Bye Bye,Robot is announcing the launch of three new Star Trek prints. Two of the new prints, by artists Cliff Cramp and Tracie Ching, are heavily inspired by this year’s 20th Anniversary of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
“The graphic style of Tracie’s print and the expressionistic style of Cliff’s prints play off of each other beautifully,” says Charity Wood, Co-Founder of Bye Bye, Robot. “We’re excited to be working with so many talented artists…each bringing their unique style to the Star Trek realm…offering different styles of art for different collectors’ tastes.”
Returning artist, Tracie Ching’s print, “DS9 20” is an 18”x24” lithograph printed on 100lb paper. It portrays the characters central to the series around the station itself, while giving the viewer a glimpse of the wormhole featured behind the portraits. The vastness of space, as the backdrop, serves to remind the viewer of the remote location of the station and the work being done by its inhabitants. Included in the portraits are; Captain Sisko, Odo, Major Kira, Quark, Lt. Commander Jadzia Dax, Lt. Commander Worf, Chief O’Brien, Jake Sisko, Garak, and Doctor Bashir.
Newly working with Bye Bye, Robot, artist Cliff Cramp’s two prints are on acid free heavyweight coverstock, featuring bold rich colors. The first, “Deep Space Nine,” is 18”x24” and depicts the formerly Cardassian space station floating in its location in space. Just forming in the starfield backdrop, the viewer can spy the highly fought over wormhole as it begins to open.
Cliff’s second poster, “A Good Day To Die,”, is 16”x24” and also features his signature deep colors. This scene utilizes those colors to depict an energetic battle between the U.S.S. Enterprise and a Klingon Battlecruiser. The combat unfolds in front of an alien world, allowing the viewer to create his or her own story behind the clash.
The new additions were launched at Creation Entertainment’s Official STAR TREK Convention in Las Vegas in August.
Under license by CBS Consumer Products, each new print is available for $25 each. They are available for purchase today from byebyerobot.com at the price listed above, plus shipping.
