A brand new look at the history of Star Trek has hit bookstore shelves nationwide. Written by Star Trek author Robert Greenberger, Star Trek: The Complete Unauthorized History spans the entire life of the franchise from The Original Series through J.J. Abrams's reboot. Robert is best known for his dozens of Trek novels ) short stories and his long stint with DC Comics. The book promises to dive into the full history of Trek including its triumphs and defeats.
If you're like us, you're eagerly awaiting the next Pocket Books release in the popular "Star Trek Vanguard" series. While you do have to wait until June for the release of "Star Trek Vanguard: Declassified", you don't have to wait to feast your eyes on the cover art by Doug Drexler. Doug has released a text free version of the "Declassified" cover, as well a sneak peak of the "What Judgements Come" artwork.
Star Trek books are always a Trek Fan favorite and the releases this year will be no exception. In the list of upcoming releases we have some old fan favorites (including Star Trek: Vanguard & Star Trek: SCE sequeals) as well as some new publications. Our twitter friend and Star Trek novelist, Dayton Ward, announced today that his latest Trek writings are available for your reading pleasure. "Star Trek: Seven Deadly Sins" is a collection of short stories that focus on Federation enemies and they're representation of each of the seven deadly sins.

Wil Wheaton's much anticipated "Memories of the Future: Volume 1" was released on the self publishing website Lulu today. "Memories of the Future" is a series of books or "episode guides" that will cover Star Trek: The Next Generation from Wil's perspective. Volume one covers Fairpoint to Datalore in the first season. In a recent press release, Titan Books announced their forthcoming 'art of' book STAR TREK: THE ART OF THE FILM!. The book is set to include pre-production paintings, concept sketches, costume and set designs, unit photography and final frames. J.J. Abrams also provides an exclusive forward for the book that's set to release November 17th. Check out the press release below.
