Paramount Digital Entertainment, Bad Robot Interactive, CBS Consumer Products and Naked Sky Entertainment today announced that new content for the Star Trek®: D-A-C video game is now available for download via Xbox LIVE® Arcade. For players that previously purchased the game on Xbox LIVE Arcade, the new content for Star Trek: D-A-C is available as a free download. New players can purchase the updated game on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft points.

The new phone books are here, the new phone books are... uh, I mean, the new "Star Trek" 3-disc Blu-ray with Digital Copy is here. So, we went out today for a quick Doctor's appointment and just happened to pick up our prescription at the neighborhood Sam's Club. On the way to the pharmacy, we mysteriously and accidentally fell into the DVD / Blu-ray section and picked up a copy of J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek". None of this was planned of course.

Star Trek Online & D-A-C for PC Release Dates

Star Trek Online is in it's closed beta phase and we can neither confirm or deny whether or not we're currently participating :). We can, however, let you treklings know that the officially release date is set for Feburary 2nd 2010. Yes friends, that's the year we make contact!

Also, in other trek gaming news, Star Trek D-A-C is finally set for it's release on the PC on November 12th. Check out more deets below. BTW, the pic above has nothing to do with either of these announcements. It just makes me happy inside.

As reported by Cinema Blend, Star Trek D-A-C is finally making it's way to PC & Sony's PS3 this month, featuring new ships. The space shooter has been a hit on the XBOX 360's Xbox Live Arcade since it's release in May. Surprisingly, it's taken nearly six months for the game to finally grace other platforms.

Star Trek D-A-C is the BEST Star Trek game EVER!!...Ok so I'm exaggerating a bit but who are we kidding, there aren't really very many great Trek games. Star Trek D.A.C is a top down shooter with decent graphics and awkward controls that consumes four to five hours of my day. There are three modes to the game Deathmatch, Assault, and Conquest (hence the name D-A-C). There are two sides, Federation or Romulan, and three classes of ships. More on the ships later.
