If there's one thing I love almost as much as Star Trek (besides The Rockford Files), it's Match Game. It could be any incarnation, 73, 74, 78, PM, it doesn't matter. Just give me a YouTube playlist and lots of Charles Nelson Reilly. I hear he won the Tour de France with two flat tires and a missing chain...but I digress. Recently watching an episode (or six) of Match Game, I got to thinking... Surely there are episodes of Match Game and other game shows chock full o'Trek stars. And, since we live in the future, I was able to fire up the Googles and find several episodes for all you Vulcans and Andorians alike. So, in my best Gene Rayburn, "There are so many Trek stars in these game shows [long pause] that you'll have to [BLANK]." As an added note, even though the title of this article sounds like a question from Jeopardy, this list is Alex Trebek-less. That's on principle... Enjoy.

Everyone's favorite ensign and internet wonderboy, Wil Wheaton, recently starred in a new short with The Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs. Recently? You ask... Well okay, so it was uploaded in July. I'm a little behind the times and the only reason I know anything about it is that Mary from DVD Geeks shared it today. Yeah she posted it to Google +, I think. Anyway, what do you want from me? This site's free. Get off my lawn!... My best guess is that the short was filmed at one of the Wizard World Comic-Cons, since both Chandler and Wil have been hitting the circuit pretty heavily. Whoops, scratch that, looks like it was filmed down under at an Aussie convention.

We just got back from a fantastic con in our neck of the woods. That's right earthlings, it's time for the Wizard World Austin Comic Con post convention wrap-up. This was a special Trek centric con, that featured the entire bridge crew from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Turns out that on an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon is making a new “Fun With Flags” webisode, this time focusing on the flags of Star Trek. While it’s not totally clear how Wil and LeVar will play into it, we’re guessing we won’t be disappointed.

What do a boy-genius and two Klingons have in common? Well besides the obvious (yeah, we don't get it either...) they'll be in Toronto for the 26th annual Polaris Convention this July. Wil Wheaton, J.G. Hertzler, and Robert O'Reilly are slated for the event scheduled for July 6th-8th (2012) at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel. We'd love to make the "trek" to the Great White North, and if past Polaris Conventions are any indication, they'll be adding more guest as we draw closer to July.

Well, the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation is swiftly upon us. I can’t believe it’s been so long. I still remember watching the first episode, begrudgingly, because my mom wanted to watch it and we only had one TV in the house. You see I was a purist…it wasn’t the Original Series…so I didn’t want any part of it. Needless to say, at the end of those two hours, I was totally hooked. Now, fast forward seven years to the series ender. We swear we didn’t plan it this way, but “All Good Things…” just happened to be aired during our honeymoon. Being the fans that we were, we ordered in that night. There was no way either of us were going to miss that.

We have to admit that we're big fans of CBS's hit comedy The Big Bang Theory. What makes the show that much more awesome (how else can you describe it?), is the regular occurrence of Star Trek guest stars. I mean, who doesn't love to the see the likes of Wil Wheaton, George Takei, & LeVar Burton on the small screen. Now we can add Brent Spiner to that list. Brent will be appearing along with Sheldon's nemesis "Evil" Wil Wheaton on October 13th.

The Emerald City Comicon is upon us once again and is providing Seattle with a heavy dose of Trek, Geek, & Comic goodness. This year's roster is proving to be a full one with the likes of The Shat, Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, & Wil Wheaton. Not that those are the only guests scheduled, but we know Trek fans like the good news up front. Just as a quick note, Shatner will be there Sunday only, with Frakes & Spiner all three days, & Wil Wheaton's alter ego on Friday & Saturday. Jonathan Frakes & Wil Wheaton Return To The Small Screen Plus More Star Trek Actor News

First off, if you're reading this right after it hits the web and you live in the Mountain or Pacific time zones, you still have time to catch it. Tonight at 9pm, wonder boy and nerd impresario Wil Wheaton will be returning to TNT's hit show "Leverage". So, run, set your DVR and then come back and read the rest of the article. We set? Good. Wil's not the only TNG alumni to be returning to the small screen. Number One, or Jonathan Frakes as some folks call him, will be guest starring on "NCIS: Los Angeles" this Tuesday (December 14th) at 9/8central. As many of you know, Jonathan Frakes has been behind the camera for several years with only the sporadic appearance in the limelight. Keep an eye out for him as Navy Commander Dr. Stanfill. Unfortunately there's no news on how large the role will be or if Frakes will see much screen time, but if you miss the airing, you can always catch it streaming on CBS.com.

Star Trek Stars Help The Fight Against Breast Cancer With Project Teddy Bear

Today we stumbled upon a great reason to bid on and buy your favorite Star Trek actor’s autograph and photo…to help cure breast cancer via Project Teddy Bear.

Project Teddy Bear was started by Lisa Spodak in 2004 as a way to raise money for her third Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. On her website she says, “I’d wait outside theaters, talk shows or other events for celebrities and explain to them that I was doing the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and trying to raise $10,000. I’d ask them to sign a little tag that said “Thank You for Your Donation to The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer” and to pose for a picture with the stuffed Avon Breast Cancer Crusade bear. Then I’d post all the pictures on the web and conduct an online auction. Voila! The almost $4,000 that I raised with Project Teddy Bear helped me raise a total of $15,000!” Read the full story here. San Diego Comic-Con is quickly approaching with enough panels & celebrity meet'n greets to choke an entire silo full of hungry tribbles. Well, it looks like one particular TNG alum will be the host of a showing of his own "Eureka" episode. Internet superstar & boy genius Wesley, uh, I mean Wil Wheaton is set to host the event July 23rd, the same night the episode airs on SyFy. Yeah, we hate the name change too.
