We've reported on Star Trek D-A-C for XBOX live since it's announcement.  Heck, we even reviewed it.  According to Destructoid the deathmatch, assault, and conquest shooter is finally heading to the Playstation Network.

Several new updates have been posted to the Star Trek Online website as of late.  Included in the updates are a new installment of the Path to 2409 series, a brand new Kobayashi Maru, and a new Meet the Team.  Details below.

Path to 2409: 2390

Cryptic Studios has just released a brand new set of Star Trek Online Screenshots over at Gamespot.

The new screens include Federation and Cardassian space battle scenes and a phaser / disruptor battle between new species? From the looks of it, probably not.  It's more likely Remans ganging up on a poor lonely Federation solider.

Star Trek Online has just released a new installment to the 'Path to 2409' series.  In this episode, 2389 Supplemental Log, we read an interview with a member of the Detapa Council on Cardassia Prime: Elim Garak (our favorite Cardassian).  And, our interviewer is non other than Jake Sisko.

Cryptic Studios has posted a couple updates to StarTrekOnline.com including a new Kobayashi Maru challenge and a Romulan ship update.

Kobayashi Maru Vol. 19

You make first contact with a civilization called the Savii. The Savii have just reached the technology level necessary for the construction of warp-speed-capable vessels. They are an insectoid race connected through a hive mind, spreading information via a complex pheromone system.

A brand new interview with Cryptic's Craig Zinkievich has been posted on 1UP.com.  Along with the interview they've revealed three new screenshots from the game.

Star Trek Online has updated it's ongoing saga 'Path to 2409' with a new year 2389.  It seems the Romulan empire, or what's left of it, is in bitter termoil while the Klingons move in to take Romularn territory.  Not only that, but the Gorn and Klingon war heats up with the Nausicans jumping into the mix.

In a new dev blog post on MMORPG.com, producer David Stahl talks about the Star Trek Online Genesis system and how it's used to create places for you to go and explore without requiring hours of art and development time for each location.

This sounds like a great concept and in theory could make the Star Trek Online universe boundless.  David explains in more detail....

A brand new entry in the ongoing Path to 2409 Saga has been released: 2388 Supplemnetal Log.  This time the story is told by Jake Sisko as he visits Ambassador Worf shortly after the Hobus incident on Qo’noS.

Apparently WORF LIVES after being attacked by Nero.  I don't care if any of this is officially canon, it's definitely canon in my mind.
