Today the official soundtrack for the new motion picture 'Star Trek' hits stores.
To celebrate the release, Varese Sarabande Records and Best Buy present a special in-store appearance and autograph event by Michael Giacchino in Los Angeles. If you're in the L.A. area, the signing starts at 7pm. Details listed below.

Paramount just released a 6 minute video featuring footage from the Hollywood Premiere of 'Star Trek' at Grauman's Chinese Theater.
The video shows the cast on the black carpet including Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Bana, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, and Bruce Greenwood. Also included are one on one interviews with the cast.

Paramount released a new slew of photos from the Hollywood premiere of 'Star Trek' at Graumann's Chinese Theater. The photos include the cast of 'Star Trek' as well as J.J. Abrams and shots from the red, uh, black carpet.

We scoured the internet looking for reviews of the new J.J. Abrams film 'Star Trek'. We wanted to find the good, the bad, and the ugly. Here's what we found so far.
Look out for Star Trek to be the first of the summer blockbusters. It's wonderfully exciting sci-fi entertainment that will appeal to long-term fans of the legendary TV series and also those just looking for an entertaining night out.
